APPLE PIE OVERNIGHT OATS

Too lazy to make a real apple pie? Yeah same. Well, here's the next best thing that'll only take you 5 minutes!

Plus, it's super healthy and tastes like dessert for breakfast.

{When we're all out of quarantine and have real jobs again (hopefully), this is the perfect thing to make in mason jars. You can grab it when you're on-the-go! But in the meantime, we can just enjoy it in the comfort of our couches hah.}

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup gluten free oats

1/2 diced green apple

1 diced date

1 tbs chia seeds

2 tbs chopped walnuts

1 cup macadamia nut milk

1/8 kosher salt

1/4 tsp molasses (this will make your oats taste like apple pie)

1/2 tsp maple syrup

(multiply the recipe if you're making more than one jar)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix all your dry ingredients together in a 1 pint mason jar: oats cinnamon, chia seeds, walnuts and salt.

Next add your chopped date and apple.

Lastly add your wet ingredients: nut milk, maple syrup, molasses. Mix together in a mason jar and place in fridge overnight. In the morning, you can add a little extra milk to the desired consistency if its too thick.

This recipe is from my good friends @livingessence_jk on Instagram. I went to their yoga retreat last year and was blown away by all the food!! I basically begged them to share a few recipes with me like their chia seed pudding and roasted beet hummus!
